cats who are left out in the cold unfriendly street
cats who are left out to defend themselves
why are there crazy people
who diliberately hunt down these innocent cats
to torture them
to torment them
why? tell me why?

Abandoned lives
Abandoned lives , Left to fend for themselves
In our cold fierce streets , Left to fend for themselves
Blamed for creating unhealthy surroundings in our neighbourhood , Blamed for leaving behind half eaten food
Abused. Misunderstood.
Who can they blame for their predicament
Humans who have so lovingly submitted to their kids
When these brats cry and whine for that cute little kitten in the pet shop window
Only to be abandoned, and kicked out, when they were roughed up and,
in defence, had these brats scratched
Humans who, out of kindness, left human food for them
Only to attract other insects and rats
G'ment thinks they are doing their citizens a favour
By culling these innocent lives
Not thinking that this earth do not belong to humans alone
People in g'ment have to justify their paychecks by coming up with 'solutions', even if means sacrificing some lives
these defenceless lives
they have every right to share this world with us humans
this world is not big enough for all of us?
